Our Board

Todd St.Romain

Todd St.RomainI’m Todd St.Romain and I was born and raised in Mansura LA where I still reside today. I am happily married to my childhood sweetheart,Sondra, for forty four years and we have four children and seven grandchildren.

I attended Catholic school from 1 - 12 grade and our family of 8 siblings were raised by good Catholic parents. I was an altar boy at St.Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura until I was a teenager and I continue to serve on our parish counsel as well as a past  Grand Knight of our local KC council.

My hobbies are hunting, fishing, traveling and property management.

I went to work for the family business, St.Romain Oil Co, a petroleum fuel distribution company at a young age where I was able to apprentice under my father for 12 years until Sondra and I purchased the company upon his retirement. Sondra and I ran the company together for 23 years and we slowly developed a chain of convenience stores in the Central Louisiana area.

During my career I served on several state and national industry boards where I gained much experience about working constructively with others for the common good. I continue to serve our community on several non profit boards in Cenla such as  my second term of the Food Bank and I am currently board  President for Cenla Pregnancy Center where I have served for seven years.

I retired from SRO in 2016 after 35 years and successfully passed the company to the third generation of our family.  Prior to retirement my daughter and I started a non profit Foundation together called Corporate Works of Mercy modeled after the biblical corporal works of mercy. This was a humbling yet very rewarding experience as I walked with many different people who were suffering in so many different ways.

I never knew that there was so much strife within the shadows of our own home.

We also supported other local non profits who bring so much relief to those in need.

Several years ago while on my second pilgrimage to Medjugorge I received a distinct call from the Holy Trinity to serve God and Our Queen Mother in a more profound way.  My answer was a resounding “ Yes”, even though I was not quite sure what I was saying yes to. Jesus I trust in you!

Inspired by John Martinez, it is a privilege for me to help to bring the Holy Family Apostolic Sanctuary Foundation to life with my dear friends, George and Louise.

I also trust that God may be tugging on some of your hearts to assist us by lending some of your talent to our board, or perhaps helping us teach or just praying for us.

I look forward to the journey that lies ahead!
