During the Holy Spirit weekend at La Bonne Vie Ranch while the Stations of The Cross were being shown on Friday, I felt inspired to write the following:  How many disciples stayed to watch the crucifixion? Only John and Mary. Who will stay with me until the end? Who will endure my agony? Who will come with me to my crucifixion? Will it be you? Only a few stayed. Many were called, but few are chosen. Not all who say Lord will follow me.  

My husband and I traveled from Arizona to the Holy Spirit Seminar with an open heart and open mind. We didn’t know what to expect at the retreat. I would like to share that it has been a life-changing experience! Before going to the seminar, I had prayed and asked God for a confirmation if He wanted us to go to this seminar. I received confirmation to go to Texas when my husband one day told me he had a dream that I was telling him that we were moving to Texas.

I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at the age of 19. Crohn’s is a form of Colitis or IBS, as some people refer to it. At the 2025 Holy Family Sanctuary Retreat in Fredricksburg, Tx, Vickie Smith stopped praying for someone else, Elizabeth I think, and said to the crowd: “there is someone here with Colitis that needs to be healed. Stand up.” A woman on the left side of the room stood up.

I experienced healing of memories and still feel the joy and freedom from that weekend. I’m praying for your organization, that our Lord will bless and guide your future endeavors. The Holy Spirit was so powerful at the retreat and I wish all Catholics could experience this outpouring of healing and joy.
