My husband and I traveled from Arizona to the Holy Spirit Seminar with an open heart and open mind. We didn’t know what to expect at the retreat. I would like to share that it has been a life-changing experience! Before going to the seminar, I had prayed and asked God for a confirmation if He wanted us to go to this seminar. I received confirmation to go to Texas when my husband one day told me he had a dream that I was telling him that we were moving to Texas. So, after that, I sent the application to the seminar and bought our tickets to go there with two other couples from Arizona.
The seminar experience was amazing! I experienced things I had never experienced before. At our table sat two kind ladies that lived a few towns over from Fredericksburg in Texas. In my life, I had never heard of Fredericksburg or any other towns in Texas except for the big cities. So, I wasn’t familiar at all with where these two ladies lived when they mentioned where they were from.
Many of my prayers were answered, but as one of the speakers explained that weekend, it takes time for our spirits to catch up with our intellect. I wish I had shared this sooner, but it has been a lot to process, and I was not prepared for what the Lord has been doing in my life since attending the seminar.
On Saturday at the seminar, I saw a gentleman wearing a T-Shirt with the image of Our Lord with the Crown of Thorns (Precious Blood Devotion) which I had been interested in and had started praying. I went up to him to talk to him and another lady about the Precious Blood Devotion. I shared with them the experiences I have had since praying those prayers. During the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, when John was walking around praying for people, he came up to me prayed over me and said God the Father speaking, “I will restore your family” and felt the Holy Spirit came over me and felt his love as I was slain in the Spirit.
On Sunday, when the retreat was ending, we were saying our goodbyes to everyone and one of the kind ladies sitting next to us told my husband that she had a house for us if we ever thought about moving to Texas. What?! I couldn’t believe what my ears were hearing, but I was wondering what are we to do in Texas if our life is already here in Arizona? I met another kind lady that was interested in the Precious Blood devotion and we exchanged phone numbers.
On Monday following the seminar, we went to daily Mass in the parish at Fredericksburg and met a sweet couple after Mass that shared with us the husband had a dream that he had to move to Texas from the Northwest region and told us we should consider moving, too. Another man told my husband we should move to Texas because it was so great for young families. I saw the gentleman and lady that knew about the Precious Blood Devotion after Mass and we exchanged numbers and have now stayed in contact with them and started a prayer group where we pray the Gethsemane hours on Thursdays overnight with the Regional leader of the devotion and we have become friends. The Lord somehow worked that out even though we live in three different states and are able now doing it online.
A lot happened during the seminar that we had so much to process as we returned home to Arizona. So many of my prayers have been answered. I have made some great friendships since the seminar, my family has been restored since I feel more peace in my home, and one of my deepest desires of my family living in Texas is now being fulfilled thanks to the Lord. My husband has been offered a new position with his company and they want him to move to the same town in Texas the kind and generous lady offered us the home. Coincidences? I think not. It has been the Lord putting all the pieces together because it’s His Will that we live in Texas. I have witnessed so many miracles since the seminar. God is so good! All the glory, honor, and praise to God Almighty! Truly, there is no limit to what God can do in our lives. I have cried so many tears of joy because I had been in a desert (literally and figuratively lol!) waiting and praying and now He is letting me see the fruits. My heart is so grateful for all He has done in my life. I have learned to increase my faith and just trust and surrender and obey God so he can move freely in our lives. Thank you for all the prayers they have made all the difference in my life.
