My heart feels a strong pulling to share my incredible experience at the Holy Family Apostolic Sanctuary Retreat at the Melvern Retreat House in Pennsylvania In April 2026 with you.
I have been part of the Charismatic Renewal for many years, so I am very familiar with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Prior to this retreat I had seen a few people fall and rest in the Holy Spirit but on that beautiful weekend I witnessed more than a few.
The biggest majority of the people there rested in the spirit. As I looked around the room I could see so much love and joy in those beautiful people. Our Lord was very much present. Just seeing that, brought me so much joy and happy tears to me. They were singing and raising their hands with love to our Heavenly Father. The Spirit was very heavy, so much that I could feel it very strongly within myself. As I prayed over the people there, It became even stronger and more powerful. God’s Divine Presence was alive and truly present in the room.
I myself, rested two times in the Spirit. I rested so peacefully with my Lord, that I didn’t want to wake up. I just wanted to stay with my Jesus. I gave thanks to my Father for blessing me with his amazing gift of His love.
The people who were able to attend were truly blessed.
I would recommend retreats offered by the Holy Family Apostolic Sanctuary to anyone who desires to draw closer to God via the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit was truly alive in a big way that weekend.
